In the last September vacations I went to the beach. It was very fun because I met a lot of friends. We have done a lot of things together. On Friday we have gone to a party and we have danced all the night. On Saturday we have gone to a “Fonda” and there were a lot of typical Chilean things, like beef kebabs or “Empanadas” and the music were also very good. Not only at nights was it fun, also during the days. With my friends I sunbathed and walked in the beach. Thus we got fresh air. I think that these vacations were very good, because I have a lot rested and amused with my family and friends.

The world cup

In these days thirty two football teams are playing the world cup. It´s a big match that take place every four years in different places. The championship splits up in different groups in which four countries play. This year is very special, because Chile´s team participates. Since 1998 that Chile didn´t play in the world cup and because of that all the Chileans people are very exciting. For now we have won two games, one against Honduras and the other against Switzerland. Tomorrow is going to be a very important match. Chilean players are going to play against Spain. It depends on this game if Chile qualifies to the second round, despite I’m very nervous. I´m going to see the football match with all my friends and it´s going to be very funny. We are going to shout and laugh a lot. I´m sure that Chile can win this match and maybe have a good position in the finals marks.

My clothes

Hi! I´m going to tell you about my clothes. I prefer to used colored things. For example dresses, blouses, etc…when I get dressed, I always put me accessories. They could be earrings, necklaces, and neckerchiefs, with a beautiful patterned: flowers or dots.
On the top I´m used to wearing short sleeve t-shirts or blouses. And I match those with tight jeans and boots or trainers, because they are comfortable enough for me. I also think that it is very necessary to have thick clothes because Chile is very cold. It could be a leather jacket or an anorak.
Despite of all I l also find some pieces of clothing very ugly. Like clothes with striped or very bright designs. I think that they are too noticeable. And there is no occasion to use them.
I also hate very long skirts or dresses because they are too antique and awful for me.

My ideal house

Hi! I´m going to tell you about my ideal house. It´s going to be a big mansion, because I would like to have many rooms for different things, like one where I can see movies. I also want to have a play room, where is going to be a desk with a lot of food and drinks, a pool table, and other games.
In my house there will be modern and antique furniture. In my living room I prefer to have an old-fashioned, beautiful and elegant style. For example big mirrors, large cupboards of wood, and comfortable sofas.
In the other rooms I want to have modern and usual things. Like white armchairs, beautiful curtains and carpets.
The bathrooms are going to be very big, because I thing that they must be comfortable and also very clean.
I´m a big fan of plants, because of that there is going to be a vase with a lot of colored flowers in each room.
Despite of that, I think that the most important thing in my house is the light, so it will be have big windows.

My favourite book

Hi! I´m going to tell you about my favorite book. The title is “Memorias de Idhún”. It´s about four teenagers that can do magic. They are from another world and they must save it, because it´s dominate by another magician, but those are very bad.
The thing is that one girl of the four (Victoria), fell in love to one of the worst wizard, called Christian, and also to one of her friends, called Jack.
It´s a very romantic story, because the bad magician, of which the girl fell in love, betrayed his family and friends (the bad wizards), because of her. He didn´t matter if later he could die, only was worried for Victoria.
Also it´s an adventurous story, because the teenagers must fought with the bad wizards over saved the world from they came. When I was reading the book, I was always nervous
This book is very good for young people, girls or boys. It doesn´t matter, because it would be amused for both.

TV programs

Dear Sir,
I´m very worried about the programs that you are showing on the TV. Some of them are very inappropriate for children and not only for them, but for everyone.
For example there are programs that use rude comments and then people use them. There are also advertisements to promote products. And some of them show naked people or something like that. It´s very inappropriate for young people and it´s very disrespectful.
There are also programs in which there is a lot of violence, blood, murders, etc…And when children see them, they get scared and sometimes the parents don´t know that. It can be very bad, because they can´t sleep or things like that.
A lot of parents go work and don´t know what their children see on the TV. Because of that I think that they must block the adults channels to guarantee that they don´t see inappropriate things

My worst illnes

Hi! I´m going to tell you about my worst illnes.

About a year ago I had a strong cold. I felt very bad and dizzi. Those days I had headache and temperature. The worst think is that that weekend a friend made a party but my father didn´t let me go. I was very angry and I cried a lot. The next morning, after I wake up, I felt very delicate and I faint. When I recovered from that, I couldn´t remember anyting. Then I ate a lot of sugar and I rested in bed. After that I felt better. I stayed at home about a week, it was very relaxing. Those days I drunk a lot of water and I slept very much.

When I came back to the school, all my friends asked how I felt. and told me about the party. It was very funny but I´m so happy that I didn´t go, because it would have been worst.

Celebrations in Chile

Hi! I´m going to tell you about some of the celebrations in my country.
One of them is the easter, and I think that is very important, because it celebrates the God´s resurrection. This day the easter rabbit, bring a lot of chocolate eggs, and hide then in the house.
Another important celebration is the christmas. This day we remember the God´s birth. In my familiy we have dinner all together with my cousins and grandparents. Then we go to look for Santa and when we are buck, under the christmas tree, there are a lot of presents.
A special celebration from my country is on 18th september. This day we commemorate the independent of Chile. It is very fun, because all the people dance "cueca" and eat "empanadas" and "anticuchos". Those are traditional meals from my country.

Hi! My name is Magdalena Morales, but my friends call me Maida.
I was born on 8th december and I have 15 years old.
I have two little brothers, one is 13 years old and the other one have 10 years old.
In my free time, I meet my friends, go to the cinema or the swimming pool. I also like to use the computer and my favourite pages are messenger and facebook. At the weekend, I go to Partys and I have a lot of fun. On Sundays, I visit my grandparents and meet my cousins. It´s very fun!
